Bethany has had alot of comments that make me laugh. She is a lovely girl and enjoys making people laugh.

One of her recent comments to me was that we are the bun girls. HAHAHa

Well the other morning i but her hair in a bun and when i picked her up from school iwas like do you like my hair she said its a bun like mine.. I said

yes and thats when she decided to say Hey we are the bun girls. Recently she told me she was going to have 5 girls and 5 boys. Well ok and when she grows up she keeps saying that she would like to be a dance teacher. WHat a wonderful dream to have at her age.

Jerrica has been doing wonderful going to the bathroom. We tried potty training her when i found out i was pregnant with George but she kept having accidents and then i got lazy and left it a while. Well after christmas i decided that should do it again. Told her if she did a pee in the potty she got a treat. So we set the timer for 15 min and when it went off she went and sat on the potty. Its been good we now don't use the timer and she goes by herself. She wears pull ups at nap and bed time not ready to potty train then yet. We only have had a few accidents so far. I am glad that she was alot easier to train than Bethany was.

George is growing like a weed he is now 12 pounds and 10 ounces. He is into size 3-6 month clothing. For me he is my biggest baby and is growing faster than my girls did. I love his smile i say hi to him and he gets the biggest grin on his face. It makes my day. He love to snuggle me he loves to be right into you with a blanket wraped tightly around him. He is a wonderfull baby glad i get to share special moments with him.

Life

This past year has been a wonderful year for my family. It has been busy and lots of changes that had gone on. I love my family and they grow and learn new things daily.
Bethany is a great big sister and is always willing to play with Jerrica so mom can get things done around the house. She is always so much fun and has a spirit about her that draws people to her and she make new friens eaisly. Which has been good from moving to one town to the next. She loves school and is learning to read and write which she is loving. She can recite a story that her teacher told her and gets excited. She also does dance on a monday and tuesday night she loves it and keeps her busy.
Jerrica is a spirited little child she learns so much and is always busy. You can't leave her in a room by her self becasue you might not know what you might find. There was a morning and we came out and she helped herself to breakfast. So we found ceral So like i said into anything. But she is a good girl jusst active.
George is now just over 12 pounds he grows more and more everyday. I forget how fast they grow. He likes to babble to you and his smile lights up the room. I can't wait to hear is laugh. On dec 4 George was blessed it was nice seeing my family and friends that were able to make it too it.
My Family is growing so much and can't beileve how fast time flies by its nice to sit down and enjoy time with them when life isn't so busy. I love my family and is blessed for them to be in my life.

Baby George

Here is the story of how George came into the world.

I had a dr appointmen on Oct 21. When i went in my blood pressure was still high. So the dr ask would i like to have this baby soon and of course my answer was yes. So he asked how would you like to have your baby tommorow. Well i just loved the idea of just getting it all over with so of course i said yes. I mean who wouldn't like to have there baby 2 weeks early i was thrilled. So i went home packed my bags and got the girls bags packed and they went to spend the night at Jareds's parents house. I was going to be at the hospital at 9 in the morning and i would just be easier to have them spend the night. So that night i got a wonderful night sleep. So of course we had to forget to leave the car seat for Jerrica so we had to head first thing in the morning to give it to Jareds parents. Now we are on our way to the hospital i was all nerves. We got all checked in and paper worked filled out 10 am and the put the gel on and contractions started about 10min later.

They weren't to bad yet some were pretty bad. Well to get throgh some of them we were laughing at the sounds coming from the other rooms. I mean not to offend anyone but it was helping me get through my pain hearing other people moan and groan was funny. The other room one lady was yelling don't touch me at the same time rub my back get me water that was to me anyways funny. But don't ask me why cause i was in pain. So after an hour jared convinced me to get in the shower so i did it felt good. i was in and out for at least 2 hrs. Five hours later the dr came to check on me and i was still at 1 cm. When the dr and nurse left i burst in to tears. Five hours and nothing. So they but more gel on. And the contrations got stronger and i was still crying and not doing so well.. Eventually the nurse check about an hour later and i was only 2-3 cm. Still no progress but they did give me some pain medication they gave me a shot of gravel and morphine. I calmed myself down by telling my self this would be over soon and i would get to see my baby soon. They asked if i wanted a epidural but they were busy and would be 3 hrs. I calmed myself enought that i feel asleep. i was in and out of sleep for the rest of the time. Finally i far enough along after three hours that they broke my water and gave me an epidural. It did wonders again no pain after 12 hrs i was only at 3-4 cm they started the drip and they told me that it would take at least 20min to kick it. But 13 min later i felt pressure and the nurse checked and i was at 7-8 cm the dr was already on his way becasue a lady in the next room was close to. When he got to the hospital i was at 10 that was 10:20 pm. Finally ready to push three contrations later at least 9-12 pushes and baby was finally here at 10:36pm.

So after all that i was glad to hear that his vitals were good and i did not tear which was great news to me. He had some brusing from coming so fast when he decided that he wanted to come. He weighed a whopping 7 pounds 13 ounces. He had red hair and was a handsome as ever. When i got to hold him i was like hey seth and jared was like he does not look like a seth and i agreed. So Jared laughed and said that he always thought that babys look liked what name you gave them. So we started to think of names. Then i asked him what his grandads name was it was george and then i asked what his grandpas name was and that was william. So Jared was like how do you like George William aldridge and i loved it.

So he was finnaly here but at 10 in the morning i got a little worried becasue he did feed again and he ate last at 2 in the morning and all he was doing was sleeping sothe nurse checked him and after some tests his blood sugar was low so the took him to the NICU. Well after more test the next day i was relased from the hospital and George had to stay. I really hated that. But it was for the best. They said that from the speed that he came that his boby went into shock. So they had an iv set up to get food in to him. After a couple of days he was finnaly back to full feeding and they had him under some lights for his jaundice. But a week later he was finnally able to come home. I am so thankfull for my healty baby boy and i love him so much and thankfull he was not in the NICU for very long it was very draining physically and emotionaly and glad i didnèt have to do it for long. Still cute as ever and adored by everyone he is here and well.

Visiting Grandma and Grandpa

Jerrica and Bethany are enjoying there time with my parents. Bethany celebrated her fifth birthday while she is there. The house is too quite i miss them so much can't wait till they get home.

2009 is on its way out the door. During the year Jared and I welcomed our second kid in the world, a healthy baby girl. Born March 29 2009 weighing 7 pounds 12.5 ounces. We named her Jerrica Alexandra Aldridge. She is little sister to Bethany.Bethany turned 4 this year. She started Preschool which she loves. She is also in her second year of dance. I am at home with the girls which i love. Jared is at school and just got accepted to the UofL. So this is our year in a nutshell.
